Barbara Fallenbaum’s original oil painting of a Wilsons Plover Nesting with an egg on the beach. Both the male and female sit the nest and raise the chicks. As you can see the nest is in the sand. They are vulnerable to beach disturbance and development. They are endangered. They are beautiful!
The painting measures 12” x 12” by 2" deep, with frame 13.5" x 13.5" by 2". The frame is solid pine finished with a cream color over a crackle metallic glaze. Each frame is custom made no two are alike.
