Original Oil painting of a Great Egret and her young showing joy for each other. They sometimes nests in isolated pairs, usually in colonies, often mixed with other wading birds. In mixed colonies, Great Egrets tend to nest high. Usually in trees 10' to 40' above ground, sometimes up to 90' high in tall cypress. Usually laying between 3 to 4 eggs. Not all young that hatch survive nesting. So when they do survive it’s joyous.
- The painting measures 36" x "36, with frame 44" x 44" x 2.5" deep.
- The frame is solid wood and custom for this painting. We finish each one with an undercoated metallic glaze and a nice cream crackle top coat, giving an elegant coastal feel. Each frame is a unique piece of art by itself!
- The logo watermark that you may see on your screen will not be on the painting you receive.
