The majestic Great Egret gets more dressed up during mating season. A patch of skin on its face turns neon green, and long plumes grow from its back. Those plumes nearly brought the great egret to extinction during the late 1800 when they were hunted for these aigrettes (long plumes). Saw this one while boating through the Narrows in Pinellas County. Such a beautiful creature, so majestic and stately.
This beautiful giclee is perfectly color matched, produced in the United States using archival pigment inks that produces a rich and realist print that will last indefinitely. Set on a solid block of wood that measures 5" x 9" x 1" plus stand.
We custom finish each one with an undercoated metallic glaze and a nice cream crackle top coat. A good coat of glossy varnish finishes this beautiful table top piece. No two are a like!
